Turquoise ikat boho vanity
This desk/vanity has gold leaf, turquoise, pink, stencils, flowers and beautiful pink paper on it! The final touch is the bling pulls.
It is painted with a mix of blues from Annie Sloan paints. The pink drips is her color called Capri. To create the drips I use a misting bottle. I have how to videos on my YouTube channel on using the misting bottle and making drips. The gold around the edges and the feet is gold leaf. It is applied with metal leafing glue. The other gold is Modern Masters gold paint. The stencil is an old ikat stencil I had purchased from Michaels. It is such a unique stencil.
The flowers on the top of the desk are furniture transfers from IOD. If you don't know how to use transfers I have some videos on my YouTube channel of how to apply them. I always let the paint sit 24 hrs before putting on transfers. Make sure you press the trasnfers well onto your furniture before applying a topcoat.
The paper on the sides is from Jerry's Artarama. They have all sorts of gorgeous papers. I just use wallpaper paste from Home Depot to apply paper on furniture.
My YouTube channel has all sorts of videos you can watch on decoupage.
You can purchase this piece from my Etsy store.
