Horse Cabinet

What a unique piece this was. It ended up being sold to a family that lived in a cabin in the mountains.

This was painted with Annie Sloan paints - mostly hornfleur. I also used saltwash to give it texture and some roughness to the piece. It then was sealed with dark wax and black wax to add depth and character.

The paper was actually posters that I purchased from a poster company online. I painted out all the white parts of the poster with the brown chalk paint and then also used a palette knife and added some paints in from the colors on the horse. Everything was sealed with wax.

If you need guidance with working with Annie Sloan waxes - I have lots of free videos on my YouTube channel of how to use her waxes. There are lots of free how-to videos on my channel.
