Home Tour #2
Do you know Kaysie? If you know her I think you will agree with what stands out about her. She loves Jesus!
She is on a mission to create healing spaces for women in recovery.
After experiencing a personal season of pain and trauma, Kaysie found herself craving a place where she could heal and rest. "My home’s mission is to be healing, restful, and inspiring. I let that mission influence every design decision that I make" Kaysie says. "That experience also inspired me to start Homes & Havens and create healing spaces for women in recovery".
So, Homes & Havens was started.

When I went to interview Kaysie for my Facebook page a couple months ago (so I could share with everyone about Homes & Havens), I walked in to her home and knew right away this home needed to be seen! After the interview (you can see it on my Facebook page) I asked Kaysie if I could come back to take photos. She said yes! She shares her home with her husband, Brian, and their adorable little boy. Their home is so lovely, so sweet, with so many touches of whimsy and adorableness and colors of peacefulness and rest. A retreat for her sweet family .
I am excited to share their home with all of you. Kaysie and Brian were so gracious to allow me in to take hundreds of photos! Thank you!

Coffee and tea are always ready to serve for their guests:

Here is what Kaysie says about this amazing print:
"I wanted something special and symbolic for above the crib, something that would remind me of truth while I rocked my son to sleep in the early morning hours. I found this gorgeous stamped print on Etsy from an actual fallen tree in Colorado. The rings in that tree remind me that this child is an investment in the future. Every snuggle, every lullaby, every long night is an investment in a man that I pray grows up to be strong, kind, and rooted in the Lord". THAT IS GOOD!

This was given to Kaysie, from her Mom:

Ok folks, isn't this the sweetest house ever!
These are the colors Kaysie likes to work with:
"My favorite wall colors are Sherwin Williams Repose Gray, Snow Storm, and Sea Salt. They are calming and comforting to me.
I paint furniture with Fusion Mineral Paint “Pickett Fence,” Miss Mustard Seed’s milk paint in Farmhouse White, Trophy Gray, and Eulalie's Sky, and Layla’s Mint".
Thank you so much to Kaysie and Brian for letting us tour your home! A home full of love, laughter, and compassion.
Homes & Havens, Recurrecting Beauty in Broken Homes
Please consider donating to Homes & Havens. You can click on the name and it will take you to their website. They need donations every month to help women in need. They especially need monthly commitments. Also, if you shop at her booth at Red Briar Green Briar all of the proceeds go to Homes & Havens. They also really need a good working van for transporting all the furniture. She also accepts furniture donations. You can read all sorts of amazing stories on the website of the women Homes & Havens has helped.
Thank you so much,
Rita
