Baby Crib

My clients ordered a brand new baby crib for their new baby but the crib wasn't the color they thought it was going to be. So they called me to paint it old white. I sealed it with clear wax. It was a light gray when they bought it. Now it blends in much better in the room. When painting cribs you want to make sure you let the paint and wax sit and cure for a good 30 days before using it. You want to make sure there are no fumes for the baby to breathe in. Didn't they do a lovely job decorating their daughter's room? It's adorable! The wallpaper is from Anthropologie.

I have lots of how to videos on my YouTube channel on painting and using wax on furniture.

More photo's of my work can be seen in the Gallery.
