Blue/Gold Hutch

This hutch was very plain when I bought it. It really needed some help! I ended up adding some wood embellishing to give it some detail and then painted the inside with gold metallic paint from Modern Masters. Modern Masters has fantastic metallic paint options! On the outside I used Annie Sloan napoleonic blue with black wax. All the detailing got some of the modern masters gold paint and also some gold gilding wax. What a regal transformation! The black wax is great to go straight black on to this color. You can't do that with all the colors but you can with the dark colors.
